Reggie is a Red Shanc Douc in Northern Vietnam who could use your love. His species is indigenous to the Khe Nuoc Trong forest of North Central provinces, and was is marked as endangered by the IUCN. While Vietnam has made efforts to protect Reggie and his peers, conservation laws have been difficult to enforce.
To combat this, The Body Shop hsa launched a global campaign called Help Reggie Find Love. Each Body Shop item purchased will help restore one square meter of rainforest habitat as part of the Bio-Bridges program – an initiative that protects Reggie’s species from exploitation and poaching.
The Body Shop opened in 1976 with founder Anita Roddick’s belief in something revolutionary; that business could be a force for good. Today, their commitment is stronger than ever.
Their products contain 100% natural ingredients that are traceable and sustainably sourced, protecting 10,000 hectares of forest and other habitats.
We highly encourage our readers to join The Body Shop on its mission to enrich our planet’s biodiversity. Visit Reggie’s official campaign here.
