Travel: Viet Princess River Cruises
Viet Princess Cruises offers 5-star luxury excursions aboard two ships in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam.
The Mekong Princess and Avalon Siem Reap sail for 8-day/7-night cruises from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap.
Both ships offer suites for two, which include fine dining experiences, recreational activities, and shore tours at stops along the Mekong River.
The 200 ft. long Mekong Princess cruiser was designed with a breadth of 31 ft., two 480-horsepower main engines and furnished with imported cutting-edge equipment and amenities. The construction of the Mekong Princess was supervised by the Vietnam Register and representatives of foreign shipping and chartering agencies to meet the highest ship-building standards.
The Avalon Siem Reap cruiser was chartered for five years by US-based Avalon Waterways, the leading river cruise firm in the United States.
Managing director of the Viet Princess, Giang Hoang Hai, said that what sets these two ships apart from other river cruises is a commitment to provide a true five star experience for passengers. “The Mekong River has always been in the spotlight for its tourism potential. The relaxing pace of the river flow at the border area between Vietnam and Cambodia, combined with the rushing torrents passing over rocky reefs into Laos and Thailand are a sight to see.”
Foreign cruise lines have brought substantial investments into Vietnam thanks to the distinctive features of the Mekong Delta region and the unique voyages being offered to thousands of travelers.
