Vietnam Defeats Defending Futsal Champions Japan

Highlights of Vietnam edging out defending champions Japan 2-1 on penalties in AFC 2016 Futsal Championship quarter-finals.  The victory followed a 4-4 draw after extra-time.  Vietnam secured a place in the semi-finals for the first time and qualification for a maiden FIFA Futsal World Cup.  Iran went on to win the Futsal Championship with Uzbekistan runners-up , Thailand third and Vietnam fourth.
