FutureDocs Abroad Meet in Hue, Vietnam
FutureDocs Abroad hosted by The National Leadership Academies will be held in Hue, Vietnam from July 19 – August 4, 2018.
This year, FutureDocs Abroad offers high school students the opportunity to visit hospitals and clinics in Vietnam in order to experience the big 3 experiences all aspiring doctors should see firsthand: the ability to spend time in the gross anatomy lab working on full human cadavers; the opportunity to be in the operating room or observation deck viewing surgery and talking to the physicians; and the privilege of shadowing physicians in the emergency room, clinic, and office while they treat patients and perform procedures.
NSCS is an honor society that has members who positively impact their campuses and communities by participating in service activities as they prepare for future endeavors. Along the way, members connect with fellow high-achieving students.
Scholarships
NSCS gives out over $1 million in scholarships annually, including Merit Award scholarships, Study Abroad scholarships, graduate-study scholarships, several program-specific scholarships and much more.
Leadership
NSCS members are viewed as leaders in their education community and organize annually at the NSCS Leadership Summit. Members also have access to career resources, leadership development and much more.
Service
NSCS is a nationwide community of member scholars, officers, advisors, partners, employers, sponsors and more. NSCS Chapters plan activities such as networking events, social gatherings, and community service projects regularly.
